The Heart of Aladin
Aladin is a real White Swiss Shepherd who lives with us in northern Dalarna, Sweden. Surrounded by forests, mountains, snow and the river nearby, he has been part of our family for many years.
Over the years we have taken hundreds of photographs of Aladin – at home, out in nature and on our travels together. They were never taken for a book or a business. They were simply photographs of our life with him.
Much later, some of these photographs became colouring pictures for our own use. That simple idea eventually grew into Aladin of Sweden.
A Life Full of Moments
From snowy winters in Dalarna to walks in the forest, swimming in the river and travelling with us, Aladin has been photographed in many different places and situations. These real moments are the inspiration behind the pictures we are now turning into colouring pages.
The Real Aladin
Aladin is not a character created for these books. He is our family dog, and every picture begins with a real memory.
Some photographs capture beautiful landscapes, others simple everyday moments – and sometimes something funny or unexpected. Together they tell the story of a real dog and the life he has shared with us.
That is the story we want to preserve in the colouring books.
